Who We Are:

Walk 2 Shul LLC is a private, family-owned company located in Hollywood, Florida. Walk2Shul.com began as a personal vision based on our personal experiences. Having the privelage of growing up in a strict Orthodox Jewish home, steeped in traditional Torah values, and continuing on to practice Orthodox Judaism, we know firsthand the challenges we face when it comes time to find a new home or a new job.

We've been fortunate to move a number of times, and each time we were faced with the prospect of finding a home that was near a Shul (an Orthodox synagogue). We say "fortunate" because it was eye-opening. Being adventurous and curious souls, we weren't satisfied with the status quo of the main Orthodox communities (ie. Boston, New York, L.A., Miami...). Certainly, they were considered, but what other options existed? Are there other places where the quality of life is better and the homes more affordable? And then how do you find those homes that are near a Shul?

These questions, and many more, made us realize that there was a serious need for a professional, quality online service that brought together buyers, sellers, and renters of homes within walking distance to a Shul. Thus the creation of Walk2Shul.com

Our Vision - Real Estate:

Our goal is not just to make it easier for Orthodox Jews to find a new home near Shul, but to open your eyes to places you may never have thought of before! Yes. Believe it or not, there are communities out there that offer better affordability, more opportunities, and a higher quality lifestyle. Our database of Orthodox synagogues is one of the largest and most complete available!

Another goal of ours is to make it easier for homeowners (and Realtors!) to sell or rent their property by bringing them higher-qualified prospects. A home within walking distance to a Shul is valuable. Why have your property lost among the tens of thousands of other listings in a general purpose paper, magazine, or listing service?

Our Vision - Employment:

Although we focus on real estate, we understand the challenge of finding a new job, especially in an environment that is Orthodox-friendly and accommodating to our need of leaving early on Fridays and certain holidays. We hope to attract respectable companies and employers, large and small, worldwide, who are Orthodox-friendly and will post their job opportunities on Walk2Shul. Once again, we want to create opportunities, that may not have been available before or as visible, to members of Orthodox Jewish communities.
