New Orthodox Jewish Communities
We know how challenging it can be to establish a new Orthodox Jewish community. There's a reason why the first families are called "pioneers"! One of the challenges is getting the word out and advertising the new community. At Walk2Shul, we would like to show our support for all new Orthodox Jewish communities trying to make a start. If you are a new community (ie. younger than 3 years old), please use our contact form and send us all your details, and we will post your new community below. Our invitation is open to all new Orthodox Jewish communities worldwide!

- Description: Congregation Darchei Noam is a newly formed vibrant and dynamic synagogue located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. It was founded by men and women seeking to replicate the spiritually uplifting and serious davening style of many minyanim found in Israel. Darchei Noam looks to fulfill the needs of its members and friends and reaches out to everyone in the Jewish community looking for a warm davening in a modern Orthodox setting. Darchei Noam is sensitive to the need to be respectful to all and makes full use of its lay leadership, with its members preparing and delivering Divrei Torah after davening on Shabbat mornings and during Seudah Shlishiet. Youth groups are available during Friday night and Shabbat morning services.
Currently there are services on Friday nights, Shabbat mornings, Shabbat Mincha/Maariv, Shacharit on Sunday mornings and most legal holidays, as well as Mincha/Maariv during Spring and Summer and Maariv during Fall and Winter months.
Whether you live in Fair Lawn or are planning to visit, please come join us for a Shabbat or Yom Tov and see what we have to offer. For further information, or to arrange Shabbat hospitality, please contact the Shul at 201-773-4080.
Fair Lawn is a wonderful location for Orthodox families and singles. There are a number of convenient kosher food establishments, a variety of Yeshivot, a Mikvah, an Eruv, and a Judiac store in the area. Plus Fair Lawn is an easy commute to NYC, by train, bus, or car.
