1266 Prospect Avenue
Brooklyn, New York (United States)
As the Windsor Terrace neighborhood was experiencing a Jewish renaissance, Rabbi Moshe Hecht founded Chabad of Windsor Terrace to provide educational and religious services for the area's Jewish community. Under the auspices of the senior Chabad representative in the Brownstone Brooklyn region, Rabbi Shimon Hecht, the Chabad house opened its doors in the Fall of 2006. In the short time since its opening, we have become a magnet to the areas Jewish residents. Located at 1266 Prospect Ave. the Chabad center offers an array of programming and services, including weekly classes, Shabbat services and dinners, holiday programs for adults as well as children, hospital visitations, and rabbinic counseling. Friday Night Davening is very melodic, lively and highly recommended. Call or email for times.
