At "Shaarai Torah West" we emphasize all facets of a Synagogue. In Hebrew the word for Synagogue is "Beit Keneset" - House of gathering. The "House" should be warm and welcoming to all. To the young and old. For those Who are knowledgeable in Jewish tradition and for the ones who are just beginning. "Gathering" - A place where any Jew can enter to interact with a community. This is done with our bodies and souls. Our souls are elevated through singing and chanting of time old prayers and the study of our holy Torah. While our bodies enjoy the "Kiddush"(on Shabbat) which involves good food, singing and words of wisdom.

At "Shaarai Torah" we are here to serve you in creating a community based on the timeless formula of Torah values and Jewish tradition. You are welcome to utilize our ongoing classes, daily services and programs for adults and youth. We look forward very much to meeting you.
