What exactly is an "Agent Spotlight" ad?

"Agent Spotlight" ads appear on the right side of every page on Walk2Shul, except for the home page. The "Agent Spotlight" ad includes your color photo, a short personal message, and your contact information including the name of your brokerage, address, and phone number. The entire ad is a link which, when clicked, will send prospects to a special page that lists all your properties posted on Walk2Shul. We create the "Agent Spotlight" ad for you and keep track of how many times your ad is seen and clicked on.

Each "Agent Spotlight" ad is targeted to a specific city. An exception is New York City, which, due to its size & population, is divided into zones (ie. Upper West Side). To see available cities, click on the Browse Listings button in the navigation bar. Start by clicking on either the "Homes For Sale" or "Homes For Rent" main categories. Continue clicking through the links until you can't click any further. The lowest level of category links are your choices for where your "Agent Spotlight" ad will be specific to.

An example would be:
Homes For Sale>USA>New York>Long Island>Great Neck
In this example, "Great Neck" is the city that the "Agent Spotlight" ad will be targeted to, and will be visible in.

You can purchase as many "Agent Spotlight" ads as you want; however, you cannot purchase more than 1 "Agent Spotlight" ad in any one specific city.

How It Works

Let's say that you sign up for an "Agent Spotlight" ad targeted to Beverly Hills, California. As visitors browse different listings in Beverly Hills (under "Homes For Sale", "Homes For Rent", and/or "Orthodox Synagogues"), your "Agent Spotlight" ad will be one of the four that will appear on each listing page in the "Agent Spotlight" spot.

Because your ad is one of only four to display in the "Agent Spotlight" spot, your ad will be displayed 25% of the time on any given day in the specific Beverly Hills categories. As traffic builds on our site, and more and more visitors view more and more properties, your ad's impression will grow exponentially and gain terrific exposure.

Spotlight Ads Are Links To Your Listings

On your "Agent Spotlight" ad is a link that says "See My Listings". Actually, your entire ad is the link. When a visitor clicks on your ad, they will be taken to a special page on our site that will list all your properties that are currently posted on Walk2Shul.com As a result, your individual listings gain more exposure over other listings on our site.

As a bonus, your "Agent Spotlight" ad will also randomly display on all "general" pages of our website. General pages are those that are not category-specific, such as all our help, information, and resources pages. On general pages, your ad will be randomly selected from among all "Agent Spotlight" ads.

Questions & Answers

Do I have to be Jewish to have an Agent Spotlight ad?
Of course not. All our services, including the Agent Spotlight ad, are available to anyone and everyone. We do strongly recommend, however, that you are knowledgeable about the basic laws of the observance of the Jewish Sabbath (or Shabbos), as well as the laws of keeping Kosher.

How long after I purchase my Spotlight ad will the ad be visible on Walk2Shul?
Once your ad has been paid for and we have received all your information and personal photo, your "Agent Spotlight" ad will go live and appear on Walk2Shul.com within three (3) business days.

Under which main categories will my "Agent Spotlight" be seen?
Under "Homes For Sale", "Homes For Rent", and "Orthodox Synagogues".

What happens if the city that I want is unavailable (sold out)?
One option is to consider a nearby city that may still be available. Otherwise, you can contact us and get on our waiting list. As soon as a spot opens, we will contact you and offer you the chance to get into the program.

If I'm the only one with an "Agent Spotlight" ad for a specific city, does that mean that my ad is the only one shown? In other words, will my ad be shown 100% of the time for that city?
Yes! Your ad will be viewed 100% of the time until the other spots are filled. So, if there are just 2 "Agent Spotlight" ads for a specific city, then each ad will display approximately 50% of the time during any given day. And, as mentioned above, when all four spots are filled, then your ad will be visible 25% of the time.

On which pages of Walk2Shul.com will my "Agent Spotlight" ad appear?
Your "Agent Spotlight" ad will display on pages that are specific to the city (or category) that you are targeting. Specifically, property detail pages and search result pages. As a bonus, your ad will also display randomly on general pages throughout our website.

Is there a limit as to how many cities, I can advertise in?
No. You can advertise in as many cities as you like. The only limitation is that you cannot purchase more than 1 ad (or spot) for any one specific city or category.

How will I know when my "Agent Spotlight" ad expires?
We will automatically send you an email 30 days before your ad expires. Another reminder notice will be sent 14 days before your ad epxires. This gives you ample time to decide whether to renew the ad or not.

How do I renew my "Agent Spotlight" ad?
Simply contact us via our contact form and let us know that you want to renew. We will then send you a payment link to renew your ad.

When I signed up for the "Agent Spotlight", I had a listing on Walk2Shul, but now I don’t have any listings at the moment. Will I lose my "Agent Spotlight" spot?
It’s true that, in order to purchase an "Agent Spotlight" spot, you have to have a listing (or more) currently posted on Walk2Shul.com. Once you purchase your spot, however, you will not lose your spot during the 1-year term if, at anytime, you no longer have listings on our site.

However, when your "Agent Spotlight" ad is up for renewal, you will need to have a listing (or more) currently posted on Walk2Shul.com in order to renew your spot.

Is there any warranty or guarantee with my "Agent Spotlight" ad?
The "Agent Spotlight" is an advertising service. As such, we cannot guarantee specific results or offer any warranty. This is similar to advertising in a local circular or newspaper. However, we do some very aggressive marketing, both online and offline, to bring loads of potential buyers and sellers to our site.

Can I cancel my "Agent Spotlight" ad? Will I receive a refund?
Yes. You can cancel your ad anytime by simply emailing us your request. You will receive a refund for the unused portion of your term. Please be aware that once you cancel your spot, we cannot guarantee its availability.
